Size Guide
Buying glasses online shouldn't be guesswork. This guide helps you find your Himalayan size in two minutes — using a pair you already own.
Understanding the numbers
Every Himalayan frame carries two measurements, for example 56 – 15. These are millimetres, and they describe the frame itself:
| Number | What it means |
|---|---|
| 56 | Lens width — the width of one lens at its widest point |
| 15 | Bridge width — the gap between the two lenses, where the frame rests on your nose |
Together they tell you how wide the frame sits on your face. Our frames come in two sizes:
| Size | Measurement | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Medium | 56 – 15 | Slim to average face widths |
| Large | 58 – 15 | Average to broader face widths |
The easiest way to find your size
Take a pair of glasses or sunglasses you already own and love the fit of. Look on the inside of one temple arm (the part that goes over your ear) — you'll usually find numbers printed there, like 54□18 or 52-19-140.
• Around 54–56 → choose Medium
• Around 57–59 → choose Large
No glasses to measure? Use your face
Stand in front of a mirror and look at where your eyes sit relative to your face width, or measure the distance between your temples (the widest points on the sides of your face, roughly level with your eyes) with a soft tape measure.
- Hold a ruler or soft measuring tape horizontally across your face, temple to temple.
- Note the distance in millimetres.
- Under 130 mm → Medium is your best fit. Over 135 mm → go Large. In between, either works — choose Medium for a closer fit, Large for a bolder look.
